Abstract:

The first volume of the Elie Wiesel Research Series focuses not only individual books or parts of the work of Holocaust survivor, writer, and human rights activist Elie Wiesel (1928–2016), but also explores his entire oeuvre. Scholars from various fields and nations analyze and reflect on the multifaceted dimensions of Elie Wiesel's message—a work of paramount significance in light of contemporary crises and moral challenges, which is becoming increasingly relevant.
